My name is Kalungi Israel, and I’m from Uganda, East Africa. I’m a musician, dancer, and singer with a deep passion for the performing arts. I also co-run Peace Africa Children, a charity I founded in 2004 to support underprivileged children through music, dance, and drama. Over the past 21 years, we’ve helped many children develop their talents and pursue education.

I’ve been involved in music since a young age, starting in school choirs and winning awards at music festivals. After secondary school, I joined the Ndere Troupe, one of Uganda’s top cultural troupes, where I performed for 11 years internationally. This experience broadened my cultural understanding and helped shape my career.

Through my art, I aim to address social issues like climate change and poverty. I offer a variety of services, including drumming, singing, and dance workshops, as well as organizing cultural tours to Uganda. These activities allow people to connect with and learn about African traditions.

Looking forward, I plan to continue expanding my charity work and workshops while preserving and promoting African culture. I’m excited to see the children we support grow into talented, self-sufficient individuals.
